Guillermo Santos joined students across Philadelphia in a citywide walkout on May 17th!
Together if we unite our voices we can demand that the voices of children are heard in this country!
Children not corporations are important. We matter. Our future matters.
Philadelphia has already closed 40 schools.Next year we will have no money for books, ink or any supplies. No bilingual staff. No after school programs. No Arabic drumming,no music class. Nothing!
We can not let this happen!
On May 18, I led a kick off rally at 3rd and Cumberland in Kensington. I then marched all the way to Washington, DC!
Our city must begin to listen to the children!
Join us this wednesday at 8:00 Am for a demonstration at John Moffet Elementary School, this is because the cuts that were once being discussed were taken into effect last thursday. The cuts to the school were approved thursday. Join us as we stand, for our rights, for our children, for their education.
